well since i owned 2 laptops i will only rank those ones acer > compaq

-less heat->quiet -thinner -after some point my old p4 computer starts to perform worse and worse because heat affects the cpu....after that i decicded to go with p-m and im very happy with it

i had a compaq and an acer i would go with acer all the way

i'm looking for a remote control too but only thing i could find so far was a very expensive one which wasn't worth for the money..

can we run games on a 7200 rpm external and expect a good performance?

maybe you should ask them through their website they answer quickly most of the time.. (and please post their answer) if i get my 1681 in a week i'll probably be waiting for the batteries like you..

i know that compusmart(store that sells it) repair laptops so service is not a problem really..

i don't want to put the parts myself and the store now has the acer model i dont want to buy a laptop online thats why i have to go with one of these two...
