For some strange reason my Windows 7 cd wont load on my Aurora m9700. The disk runs fine on my other computers but its not regonised at all on my Alienware. why is this?

Ok but is the charger i have capable of charging the battery?

I dont know anyone with the same battery as me because i let the battery die all the way is that why it wont charge and is that charger the right specs to charge the battery at all

no the battery has been dead since the longest i can run the computer with the power cord but not the battery

I have an Aurora m9700 and a couple of months back I lost my charger. I called Alienware and they directed my to this site and I bought a new one. The specs on the new charger are AC INPUT 100-240v ~ 2.5a, 50-60Hz DC OUTPUT 18-24v...
