i put some spacers under my laptop and my average gametime temp went from 77 to 71C, a big jump that keeps it away from the dreaded 80 degree boundary. i'm feeling confident enough to reinstall the omega drivers.

i managed to fix it again by doing the driver reinstall deal. this time i went with the 7.95's, the earliest i could find. at least i can play gta:sa for a bit. i hope it doesn't relapse.

it's happening again reinstalling the original drivers worked for about a month, but now even that won't fix it. does anyone have any ideas? this problem basically makes games unplayable on my computer
