Is that six CDs that fit the height of the laptop?

I think he's talking about the speed at which they read the CD and I would go with the CD-R not the DVD-R.

I want to know how the 8890/8887 fits under neath an airplane seat, does it fit pretty nicely? Also is there any reason not to use the case that comes with it on a trip?. Thanks.

If it breaks you can easley replace it, it might be a little better quality.

I would go with the 8890 aswell, Mostly for the 7200RPM raid HD option, I think in film editing you will notice the faster HDs.
