it is only going to be 1440 x 900 screen. You might want to look into ram upgrade prices from other vendors. Or comparing how much more Eurocom is for their 8790 over their 4780. They will be much more expensive than anyone else
I mean pure barebones as in no camera, no bluetooth, no wireless, no sub, no tv tuner, basically just a bare shell, motherboard and screen.
Remember I live in New Zealand, our prices could be differant. I think the philips display that ships with the 4780 is basically perfect, I couldn't fault it at all.
the wholesale price for the barebones unit is about US$230 more than the 4780.

Their older descriptions said that, but they let us order 12 cell + tv tuner all in one notebook. I don't know what has changed, maybe they re-engineered the TV Tuner
Heh, that basically covers it. The options we are getting are: 12 cell battery, tv tuner, dvd+-rw, camera and subwoofer. Of course all the other specs are standard.
