Yep, Sonic is a lot better at the moment than Nero. I've also found that some of the cheaper media does not record at the rated speed of the media. In my tests Bulkpaq 'white' 4x only burns at 2x. I also tried to burn Verbatim using nero...
If it's the websites that are your main concern then just install the firefox browser and then use the ctrl+mouse wheel to dynamically resize the text on the fly.

Come on guys! Someone must have this Sony Drive and can tell me if they have the same part of the siver section in the tray that is bowed or flush, just to see if my theory is correct for why my drive is mangling my discs.
