5670 when I use headphones it is GREAT, just on the speakers, it POOR. I would think external speakers going thru the mini-plug in the back just like headphones would be ok.

Thanks, I looked again at the settings and found a check box form that had PC speakers unchecked, I checked this then PC speakers showed up on the volumne control. I set all of them to max and it made a LITTLE difference. not much. ...

Where can I find these settings. DVD sound can hardly be heard over speakers, the control panel sound for speakers is on high. WHen I plug in headphones, it's loud enough to blow out your ear drum. Thanks.
