Sounds like the Master Boot Record might be an issue. Do you have access to fdisk? From a command prompt, type "fdisk /mbr" to reset the master boot record.

Seems that it doesn't check email headers to determine if mail has been read or not. I always leave email on the server for 7 days (using Eudora, not Outlook/OE) and the email LED flashes even if there's only old mail on the server....
Ever since I've had my 3790, I've been plagued by sporadic network disconnects when using the ethernet port. The same cable stays connected just fine when using a PCMCIA NIC, or when connected to different computers on my network....
It's like Christmas getting a new 3790, ain't it?
I can back up what Roarak says - the fans hardly come on at all during casual use. Roarak - did you play EQ on Xegony? Big ugly Troll?
Check out Sager's site for the most recent drivers, but you should have CD's with all the drivers you need. There's a specific order of installation that they recommend, but I think that only applies if you didn't have an OS installed...
