I need your help. i got back to my laptop and my screen was black, all the lights opened though with the front alien head blinking yellow.. i forced a shutdown in winsdows 7 cause nothing was happening. now it just won't...
1- It wasn't an upgrade but a fresh installation
2- all drivers were downloaded prior to the installation
Conclusion.. the Nvidia Win7 drivers was the problem. I installed the one from vista 64 and it worls like a charm

Is it safe to reinstall the Richo drivers after installing the Nvidia chipset drivers ( using Vista 64 drivers ) ?

I did a clean installation of windows 7 64 bit edition last night. I downloaded and installad all the new Alienware / Dell win7 drivers.
Everything seems to be working fine except the wireless. It works for 5...

I should receive my Win 7 in the next few weeks.
Can you guys post if those new alienware drivers are stable ?
yeah , the Broadcom website kinda sucks. I fixed my problems by installing a new router ( WGL-4500 gaming router) et opening it to the 5ghz band , in '' N'' only.
For now, everything is stable. I hope widows 7 will be smoother on...
