That 3M 2214 epoxy looks like just the ticket, although it's a bit pricey even in bulk (~$15 US per ounce.) The next challenge will be to find some place in northern California that sells those 2 ounce tubes.

I'm working on an Extensa 5420 that has a broken plastic tab that holds the power jack in the lower case. Anyone had any luck with glue/epoxy (or some other techique) to secure the power jack in position so it won't fall inside...
