I've been using a first generation Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for 6 months now. It isn't the best mouse out there, but it worls just fine with the 8104's internal bluetooth and it games just fine.

Update: Battery life hasn't really improved much after 4-5 charges. The only questionable thing about the 2nd battery is that the laptop uses that one up first, then goes to the primary. Seems like that'll wear out the 2nd battery...

For the same price you could get the Travelmate 8103. Better specs for most of the components, especially the GPU.
Have you also installed the Intel chipset drivers?
