Sorry if this is such a late reply, but I personally got it to install by adding "vga=771" (press F3 or F4 to see the "cheat codes" on this issue) to the end of the cd boot command line.
I have the Echo Indigo... sound quality on it is frigging great, much better than the horrible sound from the built in 3790 (even through the headphone jacks on the laptop). I really doubt I'd need anything more than 2-channel audio...
I don't have a TV tuner in my Sager notebook (nor do I think it is even a built in option for the 3790), but if it is anything like the TV tuner I threw into my desktop computer, you would just need to get the high definition AV pack...
I've noticed that there are some random streaks that are extremely apparant on a black background... they seem to be inside the LCD as well, if you guys know what I mean. Anyone know what could have caused it or at least what it is?
The 3790 is frigging awesome. I run HL2 on 1200x800 (I think that is the resolution at least) with everything on high, 2x AA and 16x AF. It runs extremely smooth.
Not to mention that the battery life is extremely good for a machine...

Well, I ordered and received mine around the week of September 20th? I'm not precisely sure... anyhow, it's frigging flawless.
Yeah, I just want to make the rest of you guys feel bad. Sorry.
