How do you get the CPU to run slower. Mine stays on 2.23 Ghz and does not slow down when switching to a different power profile. I am using WinXP SP1. I hate to have to upgrade to the instable SP2 version. Not that many software gigants...

It was switch in laptop/portable mode when on AC. I am now trying to switch it to Always on and see then what happens. When I bought it I think Sales was saying that they were going to apply SC5 on the CPU.
I have the same problem as Ogre. When it starts up every things goes ok. The machine is queit and then when everything is booted up. Bang! I get a blue screen of death in WinXP and the fan kicks in loud and then after the reboot it works...
