Yes I am aware the USB connection does recognize the the double drives in the dock. But that does not mean the eSata shared part of that same port does the same. And I prefer the eSata for obvious speed reasons over USB. THanks

Does anyone know if the eSata/USB port in this model supports multi port aware. That is if I attach a disk drive dock unit to the laptop via the single eSata cable with the dock having 2 drives set in it, will the laptop recognize both...
