I've had my s260 for awhile, but I just noticed this recently. At other angles there are small areas of bright spots. No stuck pixels or anything. If the screen is pointed at me I don't see it, but anywhere else I do. Something wrong...

My s260 with the 9200 plays Half Life 2 fine, I even play the DM with it at times. Of course I don't turn it all max settings, but at a high resolution, I get good enough frame rates that don't distract me. I just got WoW installed, but...

And 9700 supports directx9 and 9200 is only dx8, so you get more eyecandy too.

So... can no one install ATi's official drivers or is it just me?

i'm curious.. what's the response times on these lcds. good quality but how about performance?, eh? ehhh???

omega's is a modded for performance and quality (not sure how) sony's, apparently, is the ati drivers that work with this vaio (atleast for me) ati's is the original that isn't working for mine.. what's this recovery disc i keep...

Guess I'm not making any sense. It seems I can't install the official ATI drivers but I can install the drivers from sony and omega.
