Yes I have Vista restore DVD but that disk recovers my laptop to factory setings and files on both partitions are deleted and merged into one C:/

I dont have restore CD. I have 2 partitions C: and E: so I keep all my important files on E: I will go to Upgrade option and mu files will stay as they are right?

Do I need to select Upgrade in instalation menu or Instal a clean copy of windows?
