no dead pixels.. and don't take the ratio of deads/no deads you see in this thread to represent a true ratio of deads/no deads overall.. highly likely your machine will ship with no dead pixels.. and if it's really important to you...

I think there's room in the market for many brands.. I don't have any problem with someone dropping $5k on a lappy if that is their hobby. I just think his reasoning is a little wacko. He admits if he could get a 'perfect' 7700...

Well the results from the lan party are in.. This beastie passed with flying colors.. 8 straight hours of fraggin and this thing didnt heat up anymore than any other laptop I've ever had. No problems at all much less heat issue...

So far a perfect 10.. However the test will be tonight. I will be going to a lan party and we usually play minimum of 6-8 hours straight so I will get to find out pretty quick about the heat issues.. I'll update tomorrow.
