Yeah it came today and I've already formatted but left 1.5GB free just in case I decide to go back and install it. On a 120GB drive, what the hell is a missing 1.5GB?
So my E1705 just came and the monitor reads "LPL0000." That would be a LG monitor, correct? Even if it's not, I must say this monitor is gorgeous! Beautiful color, awesome contrast, no dead pixels and only minimal light leakage...
I'd suspect the 1GB of RAM is keeping you from getting a playable game out of the Ultra settings. If you slapped another gig of ram in there you should be fine.
I'm pretty sure Dell has these cards locked down so the only way to OC is by flashing the GPU BIOS. From what I understand, there are no software programs that can OC from within Windows at the moment.
I have to recommend an external USB or Firewire solution as well. You'll be able to use it with future computers easily and you can get larger desktop drives as well.
