Like I said, every computer company uses refurbished parts for repairs, for the exact reason stated by Sager. Sending it to the LCD manufacturer takes forever. Almost always, you would never be able to notice any difference whatsoever...
Wow, I fail to see the issue here. Check out any computer company's warranty policies and you will see that they all use refurbished...
Have any of you click on the more info? It shows that it can write DL 2.4 and it's a lite-on drive, but i serached everywhere on liteon.com and googled and i can't find such drive.
