Are you sure you got the USB 2.0 update from Windows Update? You might also need to install the USB 2.0 drivers again from the drivers disc provided.

If the keys are like the hotkeys on non-laptop keyboards, you may be able to disable them by modifying the key mappings in Windows. You have to know the scan codes though - I think there are utilities to figure that out.
