I think on the A75's they don't come with recovery cd's you have to create the cd's from the hidden partition on the hdd, there should be a shortcut on your desktop to help you create them.
i recommend you pull apart the machine ASAP as the coke may have have spilt onto the board.

Ah yeah sorry i thought the machine was automatically rebooting.
The only thing i can think of is software running the background or a vrius, have you tried a rebuild?
