Wow I would have thought that out of all the people on this forum with these chipsets that someone would know what the current situation is?

Anyone know if the M1530's currently shipping still have the defective Geforce 8600 chipset or have they corrected the issue on the hardware level - not by a bios upgrade? Wouldn't a bios update that sets the fan to high at all times...
