You could easily buy a laptop for less than $600 which would work great still
I'd say go with the MSI that Djembe posted, it's got great graphics and a good processor, it fits your needs and budget, with tax though it'll probably be around $900
Hopefully theres a new Nvidia graphics card from the 400 series, I was surprised that the M11X though new, doesn't run every game crystal clear, that goes of course without overclocking :P
Hey, I think she should consider buying an ASUS Eee PC, it's powerful for a netbook, and have seen a lot of good reviews about them, you can even get some that transform into a tablet to perform some touchscreen work on them! Pretty cool...
Okay, The G71GX is about the same right? Just asking just incase that happens to be the only one that will ship
