try to uninstalling the ALPS driver and the tappin will be disabled.

check your sound effect... that's the AC 97 control icon near the clock... looks like a radio tower... select the speaker output and it should be 6 speaker out (5.1) and those 3 jacks in front of the 4750 would correspond to your plugs...

it works but not completely, tilt side scrolling and windows switching buttons don't work

i've tried that twice and no go... i've uninstalled the touch pad driver and got it to work with the ps2 port but don't have the full functionality of the touch pad... no more scroll button and no tap click... and it still doen't work...
