This is a symptom of bad RAM. check to see is the ram has come loose. If so reset and power on the system. If still having issue, you should swap out the ram.
The GPU is fixed to the system board, there is no way to remove the GPU. You can look for other boards with different GPUs, I believe there is an ATI version.
