Last time I wrote here it was asking for advice on what machine to go in for video editing and i was caught up between a Precision M60 and an Inspiron 8600 . Well here I am typing out this review on a M60 and I am so glad that I made...

thanks axiom...looked into that...base cofig gives 512MB {2 X 256 MB} - so getting 1 X 512 MB is additional 92 bucks and cheapest 512 MB RAM from 3rd party comes to $332...in comparision getting it from Dell itself costs $389 so there ...
the damage looks like it is gonna be 4500 NZ$ - approx: 3000 US$ specs: 1.7 PentiumM with 2MB ondie cache 1 GB RAM 60 GB 7200rpm 128 MB GoFX700 video card and the rest of the usual stuff.... heavy damage but i think worth it

hiya am totally torn between choosing dell 8600 or m60 for editing...the primary purpose is running avid express pro for video editing - which would you recommend...it is a hard choice especially with the price...
