Get the new drivers the one based on the 8.07 beta ATi. Thats the new beta Omega. It gives a good boost to 3D Mark scores, as well as improves general gaming preformance.
Constant 60 FPS @ High Quality 800 x 600 on a M6NE. This is with several doom 3 tweaks + card clocks at 385/275. So yes its possible.
Couple of questions: Why is my idle at 68 when plugged into the AC? Why does my fan not work till it hits about 71C? My specs: M6Ne, 1.7 Dothan 1024MB RAM PC2700 40 gig @ 5400rpm
For the short time I had my M6Ne, I was able to tweak doom 3 to run at high quality 800x600, with most of the eye candy up, with a constant fps of 47 frames.
Alright so its a fan problem. This thing is going back to the store tonight.

My CPU fan seems not to be working. Reading asus probe2, it states that its off and that my temperature is hovering around 65 idle. I was under the impression that around 60 degrees the fan starts to kick in to keep the CPU cool. Is...
And for the last question: Is there any possible way that I can overclock my CPU? With my temps, I doubt i'll do it, however, I'am wondering if its possible, and how?
Would my temps be high because of running it off the AC? And how can I solve my problem? Open it up, reinstall the heatsink, add some AS5? Any other suggestions?
