It's weird, when i connect to the internet it seems to be very active even though i'm not browsing the web or downloading anything. I don't have kazaa on or anything. When i try and browse the web, I get nothing but "This web page...

My ethernet connection only says that its unpluged even though its connected to our hub at my house. I tried three other cables, but it still says that its unplugged. Should I re-install the drivers? any ideas- My pcmia slot works fine...

Nevermind 16.8kb per second now....

I found out that im about 33,000ft from my CO, about 6.5 miles....but does that still mean I have to connect at 24kps? uuggh

Umm anyone have the 5680 and uses dial-up, I know I do...and it sucks! Living out in the country dosent help much.... anyway....why is it that my old laptop seem to sure faster then my 5680? Like i have to clik refresh like 5 times...

the v.92 settings in the control panel talk about "modem on hold"...I disabled it, I think....but you have to race to uncheck the boxes before they go all grey....weird. I hope this stops the program.

Okay, I keep getting a little popup deal when someone calls me and it says that my ISP (att worldnet) supports 8min internet hold time and hang up the phone and click resume my internet commection.....HOW DO YOU DISABLE THAT THING!?!?...

Does the 5680 come with the most updated hardware drivers? I mean, the modem on the 5680 is REALLY, REALLY slow....Am I supposed to find drivers somewhere? My other comp's modem works...
