I also tried this with my old drive.....same blue screen

The one that's in there now is brand new. The computer shop guys said that my old one was bad. All I did was take the new 160gb out of the package and install it.

That's it. Just a message on a blue screen.

D250-1151   Actually I have them all.  The System Disc for this model, both recovery discs 1 & 2 and the XP CD.
