Paint wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I bought a Voodoo for the paint job and I had to send it back cause the paint job sucked.

Its seems kinda cheap, maxed out minus the 2gb RAM option its still pretty cheap.

The day after you buy the latest and greatest the next latest and greatest will be out and you'll want that instead. Doesn't matter if you buy today or six months from today. That's why should budget for a new computer ever year.

That is not a reasonable budget. Tell them you can't do it and spend the money on a weekend in Las Vegas.
