I found drivers for the M6500, a model released during a similar timeframe, but no drivers for the M6600. You MAY want to give them a try, as a last resort:
As qhn mentioned, the Samsung NC10 is regarded very highly. Everything I've read about it has been very positive. The only complaint seems to be the rather small touchpad.
