Thanks.  Yeah it's gone.  I have the recovery disks I made for my Desktop....Pentium HP.  Could I use them to put Vista on my Acer?

I have an Acer Aspire 5050 3371 that I bought used from someone for $100.  But they must have taken Vista off of here and put Windows XP cuz that's the operating system... It seems to work ok, but I am used to Vista now so I wish...
