Yes that is a possibility about the double click feature, but it still doesn't explain why the cursor sometimes has a life of its own and moves in a arc every time I take my finger off the pad.

I would like to know too - I get this sometimes on my old compaq presario. Sometimes my cursor also goes spaz and moves randomly when I take my finger off the pad.

hehe no mate, I just whack a mousemat down. The table IS good for keeping the laptop cool though. Helps airflow to the bottom of the computer

Snake, both of those look nice. You really need to post what you will be using the laptop for, then we can help you make a choice.

Mine came already painted. Cost an extra £200 though (about $400) I must say, painted laptops look so much cooler (but then again I am biased!)

Make sure you set aside some time for piccies and a review! I know how hard it is to stop playing with your new toy long enough to do it!
