Ok I didn't explain very well, the original keyboard has number keys on right hand side but the one i use for testing has not e.g n-> q, u->t,p->m, many keys dont work at all but like I said the screen flickering is now...

Yes qhn it works no flickering anymore however the keys act different I'm just hoping this is because of the different keyboard layout in this keyboard, any thoughts on that one qhn, oh my original is currently in the dishwasher keys...

Hi I have a Toshiba Qosmio F50-10Z with what I think is a keyboard problem, when powering off especially the start shutdown area just jumps all over the place, however when I disconnect the keyboard altogether and use a usb keyboard...

Strange now it powers up but black screen it wont power the monitor and it won't even power off with the button  

The error message comes up every time the Pc comes on, and yes I did hit the F1 key to continue and it then boots up into XP as normal each time, the  F2 key will get me into the Bios so all is ok there  ...
