Yes, except if your running applications that use lots of RAM like photoshop. 1G is enough for all gaming but 2G is way better if your doing RAM intensive stuff.

Yeah the 400MHZ diff isn't enough to really change things it should only give about a 2-4% increase in speed depending on the game. Some games are totally CPU bound and others are Video Card bound.
