The 7600 in the Aspire may perform better than the X1600 in the Toshiba they compared it to, but the overall performance in 3DMark is worse than the X1600 in the 8204.
I recently installed the Catalyst 6.4 drivers on my 8204 and I no longer get the on-screen selection for displays that I used to get when I pressed Fn & F5. Is it something you only get with the Acer drivers?

I've installed the patched 6.4 drivers over the Acer-released 6.3.
3DMark06 was 2001 on ATi 6.3, 1998 on Acer 6.3 and 2008 on ATi 6.4.
One other interesting thing was that 1080p Quicktimes movies were very jerky with the Acer 6.3...
Too be honest, there's no need to get worried about a 15.4" WUXGA screen since the text is generally no smaller than the text in a paperback novel. I've never got eyestrain from my screen, something I can't say for the original...
Well the colours are fine, but that wasn't the problem with the Samsung screen, it was the bringtness and viewing angles...

If you can find the part number then I'm sure you could get it from Dell but as I said, mine was out of an old D800.
You could also try Screentek since they should be able to find the right sort of screen but for a slightly lower price....
