But to take advantage of a 64 bit processor you need software specifically written for it, otherwise it defaults to 32bit emulation negating any advantage...
Downloading the latest drivers from Synaptic allows the rocker button to work in Firefox. I use up and down to scroll and left and right to go forward and back through pages.
Incidentally, after replacing my Samsung panel with a WUXGA Toshiba, the excessive rippling has gone. Even when I twist the sides of the lid in opposite directions nothing happens.
I guess the Samsung screen was poorly built in addition...
