My Dell 9300 17" wuxga screen is fubar so I need another one. Anyone have a good 17 screen? I would like a 1900X1200.
If I cant find a screen I may part out the Lappy.

Think I got it...for some reason my DVD was set to use PIO only even though I made sure I set ..use DMA when available. I did a search for resetdma.vbs and found this link http://winhlp.com/WxDMA.htm Following the info there I was able...
ok I tried a little test I started WMC watched the CPU usage..it was around 15 to 30% and the DVD was smooth...then after about a minute the movie paused and when it restarted CPU usage jumped to 100% stayed there and the video was all...

Ok I have tried 4 different drivers including the 91.31 modified driver forceware drive 86.84 xtreme-G Mobile 8187 and the reference driver on Dells site....with a Driver cleaner run in between each one. I keep getting the stutters...
Hi all I am selling my trusty Sager 8890. It has a 3 ghz CPU 1 gig of ram a 60 gig hard drive bright clear 16" screen. Comes with the crappy MP3 player...(should have got the card reader...idiot!) TV tuner with remote..(works great...
That would be a great thing ...if it could be done. That is the one thing I miss about my Sager. I know I could use a usb tuner but I like just being able to plug the cable in the back of the lappy.

Well I can tell you my experience with the D-link 320 has been less than good. It has lots of problems with video. MP3 play back is fine as is pictures but for video....no at least for me. Here is a link to some forums that might help...
