I did remove the bad stick and ran memtest with only the single one with no errors, but it still locks up shortly after startup (when cold), and during RAM detection after crashing.

One of the hinges on my screen lost 2 screws today and a broken plastic washer. It has never been subjected to any dropping or anything other then opening and closing. Is this something that I have to RMA or can I fix it myself? Thanks.

Ran great on on my 8890. No problems. Looked great too

The only kind of mouse that I can stand using is a 5 button intellimouse (not explorer). Also ratpads or silmilar mousepads are the best for optical mice IMO. Just don't get a ball mouse.

Has anybody used the Phlak distro? I am trying to install it on my 8890 and having trouble. It starts to load and then comes up with a blank screen. Any ideas?
