An external would be fine if the laptop just sits at home. But for mobility and future raid options, internal may be worth it for some people. I am ordering a 60 gig 5400rpm drive though.

The PCtorque configurator does not have the option for a 3.2ghz laptop without a DVDRW I don't need a DVD writer and I don't want to spend the extra money...guess I will have to go with a 3.06ghz.
