The main difference between the 5680 and the 8890 is battery power. The 5680 has 2 batterys as an option, and a smaller screen. The 8890 has a bigger screen, and no battery option. The only reason to go with the 5680 over the 8890 is...

I've been counting down the days, too. They'll release the 8890 at the same time, I believe, as all the technology from one will go with the other.
Any reason why I should look at the 5680 instead of the 8890? Only difference I see is...
