The thing is, the BIOS has the hard drive's serial number listed in the Boot section under Hard Drives, but it's not listed on the Main bios page under Primary Master. Primary Master is set to None, and Secondary is set to CD-ROM.

I can't install windows so running a deep scandisk from it is impossible. I tried to run a scandisk from a win 98 boot disk and it wouldn't detect the HD or CD Drive.
