cheers, trying system restore now

nah certain keys will open progs i.e. the 'G' key will open Paint and the 'F' key will open file search. etc etc.   now the usb keyboard is performing the same actions as the in-built ): HELP!!!!

- a usb keyboard works - have run a virus scan - checked region settings   Can anybody help resolve this annoying issue?
