That would depend upon your ambient temp. I run in the low 50's with normal windows activities. Your system may be defferent though. I think there were some who were Idling in the 70's and I would say that is high.

I had random mic and sound issues with XPS Gen2. The first two times I called the problem fixed itself while I was on the phone the third time they sent someone out to replace the MB. Three days later it was all fixed.

I just started looking at my temps last week. My Video card idles in the low 50's and after a gaming session with oblibvion or BF2 I will be around 79 with a peak temp of 83.

Mabye one of the AW guys here can get you the drivers. I don't see why thisa would be a problem. Also you could get the person who gave it to you to get it. Or I think you could buy somthing there and become a registered user.
