my 7900 gs just died, artifacts all over, eh. purchased 7950gtx for 100$. used, but hopefully not trashed. coming in tomorrow...

ok, i changed the drivers to newer, and i cant overclock now, why? does it only work with some drivers?

ok quick update, flashed my 7900gs with 7900gtx bios, unlocked and memory optimized. so far on base settings 1,24v, 500/1200mhz it runs really well, tested in atitools, no artifacts whatsoever. in bios it shows 7900gtx and in win7...

lol, better later than never ;] i tried to OC with soft, but i could only do that on tweaked drivers with custom inf, got weird artifacts and screen flicker so i flashed my 7900gs with 790gsuov.rom (mem optimized and unlocked),...
