i called in again, at 11:30 pst. got an indian CSR, but she was good. pretty much she says that the hard drive is still in production, which means i'll be getting a brand new one. that's why it's taking so long. well, i wouldn't mind...

hm? what i dont know is if "soon" is "3-4 days" .. or does it mean "it will be shipped tomorrow, and then received in 3-4 days" or maybe not at all. the estimated delivery time information is inaccurate....

hm thanks for the advice, but i sent an RMA since tuesday, and the order hasn't been processed yet... it's only been about 5 days. it stills says "in production" after 5 days though... not even mailed to me yet. expected...

it's taking dell almost 2 weeks to get my replacement hard drive sent. i don't see how it's so hard to package a refurbished drive, enter the data, and mail me the drive. at any rate, dell is still the best bang for the buck.
