Hello fellow owners of the 3790, has anyone gotten a hardware upgrade? How did it go for you and what did you replace?
I want to upgrade the Video and Sound if possible... anybody done this? Did you perform the "surgery"...
I also want to add my thanks for keeping with this thread. This laptop has to last me 3 years or more and it wouldn't be possible without regular updates. You make that part easy!

So what was working for you until now? What video drivers were you using, FrenchWrath? I have upgraded to the latest ATI drivers and am doing well. My 3790 is almost a year old (Nov 04). The drivers functioned well with dual display,...
look now for a "sager 3790" on ebay. Its got 2 more days to sell. Might give you a ballpark fiigure to shoot for. Your laptop, has upgraded components but the lack of wireless could be a show stopper for some.
