1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future? Yes, own one. Yes, would like to get a bigger one! 2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why...
1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other? I have 3 OCZs drives, but the firmware updates were a pain, so I would consider another brand. 2.What do...
I doubt it would work with any other CPU than the original because the BIOS would not support it.
Sounds like a bad battery. I have seen the blinking yellow light when charging only when a battery is bad or going bad.
When possible, I go for the manufacturers' drivers than the older ones on the Gateway website. For the graphics driver, try the Intel website, http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Prod...ProductID=1862.
There are 2 screws holding down the keyboard. If removing those don't help, you may have something sticky holding it down, just keep trying to pry it up.
Yes, they are pretty much the same, just slightly different processors or optical drives. They all use the same Windows hardware drivers.
I have Windows 7 running on my mx7527, a cousin of the m6805, and it runs smoothly. The only thing I was worried about was the video driver but Windows update supplied that for me. I think W7 should run fine on a m6805.
Wow, that's running hot! You definitely need to clean out the dust, and while you're at it, apply new thermal grease.
