I should step in to make a small comment here. One of the benefits of Gentoo is that there is really no notion of distro releases that you have to upgrade or reinstall. Your installation is ever-evolving on a per-package basis...

Good work, BT! I would be very interested to hear how the RAID controller plays out in the long run. From the research I've done, I have not heard much good about 3Ware & Linux... but thats another topic. Mikhail
