But i did try like 6 others HDD & that SATA , which is no way to connect to MOBO , but IDE works @ll of them but that 16 MB buffer not.

Got new HDD & some benches
The 200 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus ST3200822A
is a bit warmer & more noisy compare to my WD , but faster
That 160GB Seagate i tried was ultra quiet , maybe 1C warmer compare to 200GB...
